WELCOME TO NEW BRANDS.
21st May 2008.............Hi all, well after a great start to the month, we are pleased to let you know that we are welcoming to our site, some new exciting brands. You may or may not be familiar with these, but rest assure, they wouldn't be on our site if they weren't of the highest quality and reputation.
These brands include:
LRG.............. One of the top American urban brands of clothing and skateboard wear. LRG, otherwise known as 'LIFTED RESEARCH GROUP', is a company involved in the promotion of underground recording artists and also sponsors a skateboarding team. Founded in 1999 in Lake Forest, California. Some artists to wear the product are, Kanye West, Pete Rock and the Living Legends. Keep us informed of any other High Profile people wearing our Brands.
MARK ECKO......Fashion designer and Entrepreneur, Born in Lakewood in 1972, he started selling T-shirts in the 80's and founded the clothing brand Ecko in 1993. (STREETFATHERS WILL BE FEATURING MARK ECKO 'CUT & SEW' PRODUCTS) The brand philosophy is the support of Graffiti art!!!!!
ZOO YORK..............An artistic style, inspired by the New York graffiti art, sub culture of the 1970's! It's name originates from a subway tunnel running underneath the area of the Central Park Zoo. This tunnel called 'the zoo york tunnel' or simply 'zoo york' was the haunt of very early old school graffiti writers in the late 60's and 70's.
Now, the american brand manufactures skateboard and fashion apparel, targeting the upper youth. Most of the designs on t-shirts and hoodies reflect the old zoo york tunnel graffiti style.
RED MONKEY.......or recently known as 'RMC' was founded by Martin Ksohoh. A brand named after it's creator Martin, who was dubbed 'Red Monkey' by the Japanese Native Yamane. In 2002, the brand was formed, producing premium denims. In 2004, 'RMC' opened it's flagship store, in KOWLOON. Many celebs have been wearing 'RMC', these include, 'DIZZEE RASCAL', 'SAS', 'TI', 'JONTE', and many more................
DMC............have been publishing 'UPDATE' the world's only weekly dance music review. It was formed on the back of a casual conversation with 'PETE TONG' who bemoaned the fact that the UK didn't have a reliable weekly dance chart!
From this, DMC Clothing, has been formed producing a range of music inspired t-shirt prints and collabarations with TECHNICS and MARVEL, creating the 'TECHNICS V MARVEL' range. ALL STOCKED BY THE STREETFATHERS!!!!
